Marche Sangiovese

The organic Sangiovese grapes are grown from vines dating back 25 years in the province of Ascoli Piceno, a region bordered by Tuscany, Emilia- Romagna, Umbria and Abruzzo. Located in the eastern part of Italy between the Adriatic sea and Apennine mountains, an appellation that provides scenic views of medieval villages, Cyprus and olive trees, a sprawling coastline and vineyards spread across a hilly landscape.

Winemaking and viniculture are longstanding traditions in the Marche region. As a result, this wine captures the unique combination of tradition, art and the diversity of the landscape.

Altitude 558 Feet

The region experiences a Mediterranean climate and can be influenced by the Apennine mountainous range, its rivers and the Adriatic sea. The soils are sedimentary, ranging from marine to typical clay and are ideal for the cultivation of the Sangiovese grapes.
